About Dr. D. Venkatesh
Dr D. Venkatesh, D.Diab (MMC), MRCP (Endo & Diab) (UK), DCED (UK), is a young and dynamic diabetologist practising at Sree Diabetes Speciality Centre, Sundarapuram, Coimbatore. He completed the Specialty Certificate Examination in Endocrinology & Diabetes conducted by the Royal College of Physicians, UK. He also holds a Diploma in Clinical Endocrinology & Diabetes from the Royal College of Physicians, UK.
Dr Venkatesh completed his MBBS from Madurai Medical College, after which he pursued a postgraduate course in Diabetology (D.Diab), an MCI-recognised qualification, at Madras Medical College. He has also undergone a Cardio-Diabetic Training Programme at Johns Hopkins University, USA, as well as a training programme in the Department of Endocrinology at CMC, Vellore.
Dr Venkatesh has 13+ years of clinical experience in the field of diabetology. He has presented papers and posters at RSSDI 2013, DAISICON 2013, and the DAI Summit. His areas of interest include gestational diabetes, diabetic microangiopathy, and monogenic diabetes.
